Ansomys hepburnensis

Taxonomy
Ansomys hepburnensis was named by Hopkins (2004). Its type specimen is CM 64461, a mandible (partial right dentary with P4-M3), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Chalk Cliffs South, which is in a Barstovian terrestrial horizon in the Hepburn's Mesa Formation of Montana.
