Calomys (Bensonomys) baskini

Taxonomy
Calomys baskini was named by Lindsay and Jacobs (1985). Its type specimen is IGCU 1224, a tooth (right [lower] M1), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Concha (CH-13), which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in Mexico.

It was recombined as Calomys (Bensonomys) baskini by Carranza-Castañeda and Walton (1992); it was recombined as Bensonomys baskini by Martin et al. (2002).
