Calomys (Bensonomys) elachys

Taxonomy
Calomys elachys was named by Lindsay and Jacobs (1985). Its type specimen is IGCU 1174, a tooth (right M1), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Concha (CH-13), which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in Mexico.

It was recombined as Calomys (Bensonomys) elachys by Carranza-Castañeda and Walton (1992); it was recombined as Bensonomys elachys by Martin et al. (2002).
