Cyclinella beteyensis was named by Olsson (1922) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; Costa Rica, Mexico.]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rio Betey, which is in a Pliocene marine siliciclastic in Costa Rica.
