Taxonomy
Huadianophyllum irregulare was named by Huang and Lin (1989). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Yumuqiao, Shoushangou Fm, Huadian City, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Shoushangou Formation of China.
