Taxonomy
Subcaliapora magnifica was named by Chekhovich (1971). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Elegest River, Tuva, which is in a Ludlow reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Dashtygoi Formation of the Russian Federation.
