Eoproscopia martilli
Taxonomy
Eoproscopia martilli was named by Heads (2008) [near complete adult female preserved in left lateral aspect]. Its type specimen is SMNS 6600-135, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Eoproscopia.
