Taxonomy
Gondaconularia magnicosta was named by Waterhouse (1986). Its type specimen is UQF 73915 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is UQ L4574, Cracow-Theodore Area, which is in a Roadian coastal siliciclastic in the Brae Formation of Australia.
