Strophalosia ericinia
Taxonomy
Strophalosia ericinia was named by Angiolini (2007). Its type specimen is MPUM 9700, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Saiwan, Pachycyrtella Bed I5-1, which is in a Sakmarian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Saiwan Formation of Oman.
