It was corrected as Eldroceras by Sepkoski (2002); it was misspelled as Elrodooceras by Holland and Copper (2008).
It was assigned to Armenoceratidae by Teichert et al. (1964); to Actinocerida by Seposki (2002) and Sepkoski (2002); and to Actinoceratidae by Shuji et al. (1999) and Holland and Copper (2008).
It was corrected as Eldroceras by Sepkoski (2002); it was misspelled as Elrodooceras by Holland and Copper (2008).
