Taxonomy
Duostomina was named by Kristan-Tollmann (1960) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Anis Tr Rhae]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Duostominidae.

It was assigned to Duostominidae by Loeblich and Tappan (1984); and to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002).
