Taxonomy
Chuanbeiphyllum mikkwaense was named by McLean (1994). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Vermilion Falls, Peace River, which is in a Frasnian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Mikkwa Formation of Canada.
