Taxonomy
Syringopora indecora was named by Lukin (2006). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Syv''yu River, Subpolar Urals, Malyi Patok Formation, which is in an Eifelian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Malyi Patok Formation of the Russian Federation.
