Taxonomy
Australophyllum soghdianum was named by Schröder (2007). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Shishkat section IV, Kshtut Formation, which is in a Pragian perireef or subreef limestone in the Kshtut Formation of Tajikistan.
