Teviornis gobiensis
Taxonomy
Teviornis gobiensis was named by Kurochkin et al. (2002). Its type specimen is PIN 44991-1, a set of limb elements (partially crushed associated remains of a right forelimb), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Gurilyn Tsav [RMPE], which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Teviornis.
