Ethmosestheria mahajangaensis
Taxonomy
Ethmosestheria mahajangaensis was named by Stigall and Hartman (2008). Its type specimen is University of Antananarivo 9643, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MAD93-73 (SUNY), which is in a Maastrichtian crevasse splay sandstone in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar. It is the type species of Ethmosestheria.
