Bathornis fricki
Taxonomy
Bathornis fricki was named by Cracraft (1968). Its type specimen is A.M.N.H. No. 2100, a limb element (complete right tibiotarsus), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Willow Creek, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.
