Primobucco perneri
Taxonomy
Primobucco perneri was named by Mayr and Mourer-Chauviré (2004). Its type specimen is SMNK.PAL.404a+b, a skeleton (complete articulated skeleton on two slabs), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Grube Messel pit (Karlsruhe collection), which is in a MP 11 crater lake claystone in the Messel Formation of Germany.
