It was assigned to Polyentactiniinae by Nazarov and Ormiston (1983); to Entactiniidae by Won (1997); to Spumellaria by Sepkoski (2002); to Haplentactiniinae by Aitchison (1993), Wang et al. (2003) and Siveter et al. (2007); to Entactinaria by Maletz and Bruton (2008); and to Haplentactiniidae by Noble et al. (2017).
