Taxonomy
Turbinoseris cantabrigiensis was named by Vaughan (1899). Its type locality is Cambridge Station [Cambridge Beds], which is in a Lutetian shallow subtidal limestone/marl in the Cambridge Formation of Jamaica.

It was recombined as Antilloseris cantabrigiensis by Vaughan (1919) and López-Pérez (2005).
