Taxonomy
Waldheimia angustaeformis was named by Boekh (1872). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Köveskálla (Budapest coll), which is in a Pelsonian carbonate limestone in Hungary.
It was recombined as Rhaetina angustaeformis by Yang and Xu (1966) and Feng and Jiang (1978); it was recombined as Angustothyris angustaeformis by Dagys (1974), Torti and Angiolini (1997), Palfy (2003) and Gaetani (2016).
