Permophorus triassicus
Taxonomy
Permophorus triassicus was named by Newell and Boyd (1999). Its type specimen is AMNH 44088, a valve (Right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH B7850, Commissary Ridge, which is in a Spathian marine limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Wyoming.
