It was assigned to Hyracoidea by Matsumoto (1926); to Pliohyracidae by Prothero and Schoch (1989), Court and Mahboubi (1993); to Pseudhippomorpha by Pickford (2004), Tsujikawa and Pickford (2006); and to Hyracoidea by Rasmussen and Gutiérrez (2010).
