Taxonomy
Cyprina praerustica was named by Hassan (1953). Its type specimen is MMC 7422, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coeloma beds, Kap Brewster, which is in an Oligocene coastal sandstone in Greenland.
