Miomancalla wetmorei
Taxonomy
Praemancalla wetmorei was named by Howard (1976). Its type specimen is LACM 42653, a limb element (humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Laguna Niguel, which is in a Tortonian basinal (siliciclastic) sandstone/shale in the Monterey Formation of California.
It was recombined as Miomancalla wetmorei by Smith (2011).
