Pseudopermophorus annettae
Taxonomy
Pseudopermophorus annettae was named by Ciriacks (1963). Its type specimen is USNM 140506, a shell (Bivalved), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hidden Pastures (Franson Mb), Big Sheep Canyon, Beaverhead County, which is in a Wuchiapingian shallow subtidal limestone in the Park City Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Pseudopermophorus.
