Pseudocepphus teres
Taxonomy
Pseudocepphus teres was named by Wijnker and Olson (2009). Its type specimen is USNM 214537, a limb element (right humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cat Creek, which is in a Langhian coastal horizon in the Calvert Formation of Maryland. It is the type species of Pseudocepphus.
