Taxonomy
Acrodus cuneocostatus was named by Cuny et al. (2001). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Favret Canyon, Augusta Mountains, Bed HB 0, which is in a Bithynian offshore grainstone in the Favret Formation of Nevada.
