Archaeonycteris brailloni
Taxonomy
Archaeonycteris brailloni was named by Russell et al. (1973). Its type specimen is MNHN Av4564, a tooth (Right M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V6168, Avenay quarry, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the Lignites de Soissonais Formation of France.
