Damocles serratus
Taxonomy
Damocles serratus was named by Lund (1986). Its type specimen is CM 35472, a skeleton (curled skeleton of a male), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Bear Gulch (Carnegie Museum Collection), which is in an Arnsbergian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Heath Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Damocles.
