Netsepoye hawesi
Taxonomy
Netsepoye hawesi was named by Lund (1989). Its type specimen is CMNH 46092, a partial skeleton (small specimen lacking braincase and posterior fins), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Bear Gulch (Carnegie Museum Collection), which is in an Arnsbergian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Heath Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Netsepoye.
