Fritzaspis ovalis
Taxonomy
Fritzaspis ovalis was named by Hollingsworth (2007). Its type specimen is USNM 534331 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is MW-2, Montezuma Range [Andrews Mtn Mbr, Campito Fm], which is in a Begadean deep subtidal sandstone in the Campito Formation of Nevada.
