Triadocupes was named by Ponomarenko (1966). It is not extant. Its type is Triadocupes ferghanensis. It is the type genus of Triadocupedinae.
It was assigned to Cupedidae by Carpenter (1992); and to Triadocupedinae by Ponomarenko (1966) and Kirejtshuk (2020).
