Ambondro mahabo
Taxonomy
Ambondro mahabo was named by Flynn et al. (1999). Its type specimen is UA-10602, a mandible (mandibular fragment with three teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ambondromahabo, M-8, which is in a Bathonian terrestrial horizon in the Isalo IIIb Formation of Madagascar. It is the type species of Ambondro.
