Neimengomys qii
Taxonomy
Neimengomys qii was named by Meng et al. (2007). Its type specimen is IVPP V14711.1, a tooth (Right M1 or M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Subeng Unit 3 (Mammal Site), which is in a Gashatan fluvial-lacustrine conglomerate in the Nomogen Formation of China. It is the type species of Neimengomys.
