Zionodon satanus
Taxonomy
Zionodon satanus was named by Dunn and Rasmussen (2009). Its type specimen is CM 71139, a partial skeleton (right and left dentaries and associated postcrania), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is WU-72, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Zionodon.
