Costacallista gabrielensis

Bivalvia - Cardiida - Veneridae

Taxonomy
Macrocallista (Costacallista) gabrielensis was named by Clark and Durham (1946). Its type specimen is UCMP 34895, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UC S60, which is in the Eocene of sandstone/conglomerate Colombia.

It was recombined as Costacallista gabrielensis by Woodring (1982).
