Taxonomy
Chorlakkia valerii was named by Vislobokova (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 3107/467, a mandible (left mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khaichin Ula II [SMPE], which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Khaychin Formation of Mongolia.
