Eurytherium latipes was named by Gervais (1852) [definitely not named in 1850 (see Hooker 2007)
type specimen designated by Hooker 2007]. Its type specimen is BMNH.30600b, a limb element (left M/T II), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Anoplotherium latipes by Erfurt and Metais (2007), Hooker (2007).
