Australopithecus sediba

Taxonomy
Australopithecus sediba was named by Berger et al. (2010). Its type specimen is MH1, a partial skeleton (juvenile partial cranium, fragmented mandible, and partial postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Malapa Cave, which is in a Pleistocene cave horizon in South Africa.
