Taxonomy
Strophalosia concentrica was named by Clarke (1990). Its type specimen is GST14112, a shell (Complete shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kansas Creek, Western Bluff, which is in a Sakmarian offshore siliciclastic in the Kansas Creek Formation of Australia.
