Taxonomy
Eokepingophyllum concavetabulatum was named by Cai (1986). Its type specimen is XR-019-020 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Laohutai KG2-III-63, Baicheng, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Kangkelin Formation of China.
