Alanqa saharica
Taxonomy
Alanqa saharica was named by Ibrahim et al. (2010). Its type specimen is FSAC-KK 26, a mandible (Almost complete mandibular symphysis), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aferdou N'Chaft, which is in a Cenomanian fluvial sandstone in Morocco. It is the type species of Alanqa.
