Taxonomy
Wentzellophyllum (Armeniaphyllum) baissalense was named by Kropatcheva (1989). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 31/12539 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baisal, Bed 10, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Arpa Formation of Azerbaijan.
