Taxonomy
Triassoephemera punctata was named by Sinitshenkova and Marchal-Papier (2005). Its type specimen is 6626/6627, a nymph, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Arzviller, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone/siltstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France.
