Taxonomy
Voltziaephemera fossoria was named by Sinitshenkova and Marchal-Papier (2005). Its type specimen is 6622/6623, a nymph, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Adamswiller, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone in the Grès à Meules Formation of France.
