Jones 2010 | Assumed barychilinoideans, “Carapace bean-shaped, more or less convex dorsal edge; asymmetry of the outline of the valves is quite distinct; non-sulcate, with one sulcus or pit, or 2 flattened sulci, valves almost symmetrical (equivalved), but RV is larger; sometimes there is a weak thickening of the edge. Carapace of females with internal partition defining the brood chamber. The hinge is formed by a groove in RV and sharp edge on LV. |
