Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
A. J. Lichtig and S. G. Lucas 2015 (Baltemys velogastros)"Differs from Baltemys staurogastros in that the suture of the hypo- and xiphiplastra is arrow shaped, pointing anteriorly. In addition the V5-pleural sulcus contacts marginal 11 which is not seen in B. staurogastros. Further, the plastron is narrower, with a wider bridge than that of B. staurogastros."
