Taxonomy
Peiraphyllum jintingense was named by Yu (1982). Its type specimen is SI-620 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wenhuashan, Upper Chuanshan Fm, Wuxian County, which is in a Sakmarian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Chuanshan Formation of China.
