Taxonomy
Cystomichelinia boyangensis was named by Zhu (1982). Its type specimen is GI-646 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tieshidun, Qixia Formation, Boyang County, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Qixia Formation of China.
